2021 Ontario Scenario & Family Picnic

The 2021 BTC "Ontario Scenario" will be held on Saturday, June 19th, 2021. Start time 10am, transition/prep starting at 9am. This triathlon (and duathlon) training session will be held at the Lake Ontario swim site at Deitz Road in Youngstown, NY. After the event (11:30am) we will have a get together at the pavilion that is adjacent to the event site. The club will provide some post-race snacks, water and Gatorade.

 

The primary purpose of this event is to give our newer members an opportunity to experience a "race like" triathlon environment complete with aspects such as body markings and transition area set-up. This is not intended to be a highly competitive race, but it is suitable for beginners and veterans alike. It's a great opportunity for our veterans to provide advice and mentoring to our less experienced members. The run course this year will be in the park on grass (no pavement).
