The 2026 BTC "Ontario Scenario" will be held on Saturday, June 20th 2026. Start time 10am, transition/prep starting at 9am. This triathlon (and duathlon) training session will be held at the Lake Ontario swim site at Deitz Road in Youngstown, NY. The event will consist of a 400 yard swim, 13 mile bike ride, and 5K run. After the event (12:00PM) we will have a family picnic at the pavilion that is adjacent to the event site. The picnic will be potluck and pizza will be provided. Please feel free to bring a dish to share!
The primary purpose of this event is to give our newer members an opportunity to experience a "race like" triathlon environment complete with aspects such as body markings and transition area set-up. This is not intended to be a highly competitive race, but it is suitable for beginners and veterans alike. It's a great opportunity for our veterans to provide advice and mentoring to our less experienced members.
